Edibles in Amsterdam
You’ve just arrived in Amsterdam and want to get the full-blown Dutch experience. So you put on your clogs, buy a wheel of cheese, cycle to the nearest canal to hire a boat. But instead of blowing clouds of smoke as you puff down the canal, why not leave a nice trail of crumbs instead?
Today we will talk about edibles, in particular the delicacies that we can find in the Dutch capital. Edibles are simply cannabis-infused food items, typically found in brownie or candy form, but we know that almost any food can be made into an edible treat. We tried weed biscuits, smoothies or even gravy to name a few.
Edibles differ according to the substance/quality that we will insert in the recipe, we can differentiate hashish edibles from marijuana edibles, such as those with THC from those with CBD. But let’s go into detail, where can we buy the best edibles in Amsterdam?
Although you can find them all over the capital, several names stand out among the producers of the best Edibles, remember that in 2009 Boerenjongens won the first prize at the Jack Herer Cup as “Best Edible of the Year”, thus opening the door to a new market culinary. In my opinion, the farmer’s chain of the same name is in first place in this small guide. Their coffee shops are also clean and welcoming, the experience is unique.
Immediately afterwards we cannot fail to mention Amsterdam Genetics, the parent company of Boerenjongens which over the years have perfected the technique, and now have edibles suitable to be served together with a cup of coffee to the queen.
Last but not least, we find the Spacetrys, literally pastries with an incomprehensible buzz. A must try when traveling to the Netherlands. The range is available at the coffee shops of the aforementioned Boerenjongens and Amsterdam Coffee Shops. We wish you a safe journey and bon appétit!
